PAY UP OR SHUT UP by Frank Shepard Fairey
Born in 1970, Frank Shepard Fairey is an American illustrator who became known for appropriating images from the comedic supermarket tabloid Weekly World News. This work (Pay Up Or Shut Up) came out in 2015 with the following comment by Fairey, “We must fight the greed of the powerful and restore the basic fairness of our society and our democracy. This piece is specifically making fun of the idea that money is speech.”
