Adam Page co-composed The Harvest Suite with classical luminary John Psathas, an experience Adam describes as a sheer delight, as both he and John waded in completely unknown waters.
The Harvest Suite is one continuous track divided into 8 sections. Written for tenor saxophone, looping pedals, and various effects, a large component of the piece is determined not only by Adam’s improvisational skills (which are considerable) but also the often-unpredictable characteristics of effects technology.
James Brown’s Like Picking Fruit is one continuous track divided into 9 sections. Written for tenor saxophone and guitar, the composition is structured so as to allow the maximum interactive possibilities between the two performers.
